Metacom Financial has been providing connectivity services to the banking and financial sector since 2004.  Our equipment and networks connect ATMs, standalone point of sale (POS) devices as well as integrated POS systems seamlessly to financial partners, ensuring that transactions go through no matter what.

The Metacom Communication Network, based on MPLS technology, currently provides connectivity to most of the major banks and financial switching partners in South Africa. We not only deliver robust, secure communications that meet the highest security requirements, we also manage the entire network seamlessly on our clients’ behalf. Our International Operations Centre (IOC) constantly monitors connectivity and is able to restore communications, in the event of any network downtime, so quickly our clients aren’t even aware of it.

All R&D, manufacturing and remote engineering support is based at our head office in Cape Town, with support capability in all major South African centres, supporting local and cross-border clients.
