Réan van Niekerk Managing Director Réan is a technology architect, innovator, serial entrepreneur, skipper, pilot-in-training and family man. He is the managing director and founder of Metacom. With a strong foundation in the military and military-based systems, he has been the key architect and developer of numerous business and engineering systems in a career spanning more than 25 years. Réan believes that technology should be seamlessly integrated into our everyday lives. |

Marius Visser Executive – Business Solutions Marius, who holds a BCom, LLB and an MBA, has worked in the telecommunications industry for 15 years. Starting as a solution consultant and later Business Development Manager at MTN, he later spent six years at Psitek, where he held an executive position, before joining Metacom in March 2010. |

Philip Lazarus Engineering Development Manager Philip studied Electrical Engineering (light current) at Cape Technikon (now the Cape Peninsula University of Technology). He worked at a variety of telecommunications and electronics companies including Teleboss, UEC Projects, Tellumat, Sasol and Psitek before joining Metacom in 2009 as Engineering Manager. He is now in charge of our R&D programme, where he manages all aspects of product, networking, IT and systems development. |

Glenn Carrick Financial Manager Glenn is a Chartered Accountant who earned his degree at Stellenbosch University and completed his articles at Deloitte & Touche in 2001. He worked for several years in the UK before returning to South Africa, a decision he does not regret. He joined the Metacom team in 2009. |

Jacques Bekker Operations Manager Jacques started working for Sanlam straight out of school in 1986, later moving to POS specialist Pointech where he held various admin and finance positions before moving to the technology side of the business. He has managed rollouts and implementations of a wide variety of mobile and wireless applications. |

Zayaan Clarke Human Resources Manager Zayaan completed her diploma in HR Management and Training at Varsity College in 2001. She worked for ADT Security and mortgage originator Ooba before joining Metacom in 2009. |
